Assembler

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our production team. This role involves working collaboratively to complete product assemblies, ensuring quality and precision in every task.

Responsibilities:

• Complete product assemblies using hand and power tools.
• Manipulate small and large parts to ensure correct assembly.
• Interpret technical documents and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Work collaboratively on a production line to meet required output.
• Verify serial numbers and maintain traceability.
• Perform quality inspections and identify defective components.
• Assemble boxes and packaging materials when needed.
• Sort, stage, and store materials according to organizational standards.
• Package firearms following company protocols.
• Complete required daily paperwork and submit to management.
• Assist shipping/receiving with unloading and inventory checks as needed.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and defect detection skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent aptitude and ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Open to training and learning new processes.
• Previous assembly experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of production or manufacturing environments.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andersonville, TN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
